Legislative Update

Nevada’s Legislature meets every other year for 120 days.    The 76th Session begain February 7th and adjourned June 6, 2011, with no detrimental legislation being passed. In the interim MHCO will be working with the State Manufactured Housing Division through regulations to exempt “handyman” repairs from licensing.   Additionally, MHCO will be seeking relief from the SAFE Act to enable seller carry-back loans.
